The Korean Dance Studies Society of Canada (KDSSC) is honoured to invite you to the main performance of the 2025 SooRyu Kickoff: Symbiosis II, a celebration of cultural exchange and artistic innovation in Korean and Canadian dance.

This centerpiece performance, under the direction of Artistic Director Mi Young Kim, features performances from the Mi Young Kim Dance Company, the Masan Branch of the Korean Dance Association (KORDA) with their body of work “A Letter to Dance”, Light Sound Friends, and a distinguished lineup of Canadian guest artists including Zab Maboungou, Hendry Massamba, Hyang Ok Kim, Dorothy Leung, Eun Ji Kim, Sunny So, Ella Shi, Manuel García, and Luis Minutti. The performance celebrates the vibrant intersection of traditional Korean dance and contemporary expression.
